Over the Lockdown Summer, May joined the fundraising efforts for Sudbury’s Quay theatre and talked about the fabrics seen in Thomas Gainsborough’s paintings. With an introduction by Mark Bills of Gainsborough’s House, ‘Dressing for Mr Gainsborough’ also looked at the fashions portrayed in Gainsborough’s portraits (both male and female costumery) which were so representative of their place in time.
