Where textile objects are too large or too fragile to be transported to the studio then treatment will be carried out on site. This is also the best approach where minimal or ‘fist aid’ work is required and the cost and trouble involved in transport is disproportionate.
We regularly carry out conservation work on site and are experienced in making the necessary arrangements. We also carry the necessary insurance to do so.
